    web mask

    Hi,

Is there anyway that I can mask a website?, I want to hide some fields,
I was thinking to make that with a php based robot but the problem is
that the website that I want to mask is javascript.

    Can php fill javascript forms?

    thanks for your help

I don't understund what you are asking. What is it that you mean by
"masking" a website? How is the javascript involved?

        Hi Kimmo,

        I want to do this:

        field1 field2 field3
        â–¼
        page1(form in javascript)
        â–¼
        site1
        â–¼
        site2 ("masked site")
        â–¼
        page1
        â–¼
        field1 field2
        â–¼
        USER ( only see 2 fields )

I need a robot that fills a form, I already made that with php (
sending the url with values ) but i want to make the same thing on a
javascript page, so I don't know how to send the values

        Thanks

          Re: web mask

You know usually robots that fill forms on other websites are spreading spam
messages to guestbooks and forums. I hope you're not attempting like this,
but it just sounds like that a bit. Why would the user fill a form on Site
1 from Site 2? Why isn't the user directed to Site 1 instead? That has
"phishing" and "spamming" written all over it, and it sounds very suspicious
and so on... Perhaps this is all a big misunderstundin g but I'm not gonna
answer to that untill you give further details and show the two sites in
question. Today is a tin foil hat day.

You'll have to write a javascript processor. PHP won't execute Javascript.

              Pushed send too quickly. :-)

OTOH, you probably don't need to do anything with the javascript. What you need
to do is post the appropriate information to the web site. As long as their
page doesn't change, you can do it without having to parse the page itself.
CURL will help you with this.

                Hi Kimmo,

                I understand your concerns.

We have a company that sells some products, our company represents an
international ( BIG ) one, we have the rights to sell on my country,
our customers buy the products trough a website that is hosted by the
international company. Our marketing departament decided to sell some
products at different prices that the big company does, so we need to
mask that info with our prices ( the international company can't do it
at this moment ), thats why i need to "mask" the international site.
