Parsing XML

Hi,

I have a catalog of 20 items. In SQL I would SELECT * FROM catalog
WHERE id = 10. Is this possible in XML? I've searched the web for
examples but I've only found tutorials that show how to parse an entire
XML doc.

Does anyone know any good tutorials out there?

Use Magie RSS it can index alot of stuff, i work really well too.

Agreed - we use Magpie for all of our RSS parsing. Ironically we use it for
parsing our own XML apps that have XML files generated from MySQL. It's a
great little application with a lot of flexibility.
