Howdy --
I keep running into a common problem tying to setup CMS applications
like phpNuke, TikiWiki and the like, on vitual host, with only ftp
access, and basic chomd.
The dir(s) our supposed to be chowned apache_user/group .
The problem is the web dir(s) our chown with my username and group.
Resulting in me having to chmod 777 a lot of the directories. Which
seems like a secruity risk to me.
One though I had was to setguid on the directories?
Is there a better solution(s) (beside trying to find a differn hosting
co)?
TIA,
david
