why can't i reach www.php.net?

I haven't been able to reach www.php.net for days. Most of the rest of
the web is working for me, though I've bad trouble reaching any
English sites. Anyone else having trouble?

Besides using the mirrors...

Have you tried to ping the domain? I can both see it, and ping www.php.net
and ping php.net

If you're using windoze, try tracert php.net from the dos command line...

Have you modifed your local hosts file? If you can see goggle and any other
website then it sounds like a dns issue so it might be worth having a word
with your ISP. Last year (in BC, Canada) I can recall helping one customer
who had problems with seeing their Company website from home - I later
discovered that they were connecting via Telus dialup and that the dialup
DNS servers differed from telus DSL customers... and... the dialup DNS
server records were at least 6months out of date with the rest of the
world... They were very slow in fixing it (they actually asked the customer
to update their local hosts file and then closed the support request call as
being resolved which was stupid).

So... check you can see the rest of the world... check that you can ping
php.net and if it the problem still exists in a few more days, I'd get on
the phone to your ISP... in the mean time, use one of the mirrors
(ca2.php.net for one).

Still can't reach www.php.net, but us2.php.net has been working fine
for me. Thanks all.
