Which modules are needed for Net::SFTP

    Joao,

Sorry I know it must be a long time ago but do you have a list of the modules you need to install for Net::SFTP? It fails even after I run the install for Math::Pari...

    Thanks,

You will notice that I have removed your post from the thread you posted it in and have started it as its own, new thread. What you did is called Thread Hijacking and we frown upon that in these forums. If you have a question, do not post it into someone elses thread, start your own. This will be your only warning on this.

As for your question, if you go to the CPAN page for the module, you will see a link on the right hand side that says "Dependenci es". Click on that link and you will see a list of the modules that are required to be installed to use this module.

As an FYI, if you use the standard CPAN interface, it will check dependencies for you. If you have it set up to follow, it will automatically install the dependencies for you.

    Regards,

    Jeff

      Apologies...

Hi Jeff thanks for the notice...I'm fairly new to this forum and haven't used it much. I'll avoid doing that again...it was partly because Joao had the exact issue I did. I know CPAN installs the dependencies for you. It seems to fail on the same dependency that Joao mentions. On further investigation it seems that directories are missing. Since Joao had the same issue and resolved it I thought he might be able to help.

Ok, you made your case. It just seemed like you were asking in general instead of directly to the OP. My recommendation for next time would be to PM the OP directly and see what they say. Just a thought.

        Regards,

        Jeff
