    Problems with Micorosft Update KB835732

    Hi, everyone.

    I am running Oracle 8.1 on my machine at work. I tried to install one
    of the latest Microsoft security patches, KB835732, and since doing
    that my Oracle service won't start.

    I am running Windows 2000 Professional on a Novell network. If I
    uninstall the patch, Oracle works fine. My coworker has the same
    problem on his machine.

    Anyone have any ideas?
