row lock contention

Hi All,

I am seeing the following wait times when i issue an update stmt with
inner select:

Elapsed times include waiting on following events:
Event waited on Times Max. Wait Total
Waited
---------------------------------------- Waited ----------
------------
enq: TX - row lock contention 62 3.00
185.78
*************** *************** *************** *************** *************** *****

How can I fix this?. My dml_locks is set to 1000 and I am the only
user. Could someone please offer some help

Increase INITRANS on the object in question.
