regarding oracle 9i installation

    regarding oracle 9i installation

    hai,

    when i try to install oracle 9i in windows xp professional version
    2002,it prompts the error that jre was not found in the installation
    cd in the required path. Also it asks me to install from the java
    site. But in my system i have already installed jdk which has jre in
    it. Also i installed another version of jre from the site too. But
    nothing works out.

    Could anyone please clarify , what i have to do to install oracle 9i
    in windows xp.

          I just installed 9i on xp professional. I did'nt do anything
          specific the install and instances seems to be working fine
