    Installing Ora9i on Windows XP

    Hi

    I just downloaded all three zipped archives with Oracle 9i for Windows XP.

    Running setup.exe results in absolutely nothing happening.

    I have Installed MS Virtual Amchine, and JRE. I have rebooted the machine.
    Still, setup.exe does nothing.

    HELP Please.

      Oh!!

      The one thing I didnt try at first was run the setup.exe from a
      command-prompt in stead of running it from Windows (by doubleclicking) . NOW,
      I got the installer running.
