    DBlink to DBLink

    Hi,

    Oracle instance A has a dblink to DB2 DB. Oracle instance B, which resides on the another machine wants to access the DB2 via Oracle instance A's dblink.

    Possible ?

      Is the DBLINK a private one or a PUBLIC??

      If the DBLINK is PUBLIC, then Instance B will be able to use Instance A
      DBLINK to communicate with DB2 and if it is private DBLINK, then only
      Instance A will be able to use this link and no other instances.
