When you register a concurrent program, you need to select the format as PDF for the output format type.

Change the system profile at user level:

ICX Report Format: default will be HTML at site level. Change it to PDF at user level and check if it works!!

                Follow below steps:

                1. Login to Oracle Applications
                2. Select System Administrator Responsibility
                3. Navigate through Profile -> System.
                4. In the profile window, check the box "User" and enter the User login ID
                5. In the same window, enter the profile name in find profile text box as "%format%".
                6. Click on FIND button.

This will open another window with all the profiles whose name contains the word "format". Check for ICX Report format profile option and set that to PDF at user level.

Few more steps to generate PDF output:

You can also directly generate PDF output from Reports builder 6i by navigating through File -> Generate -> PDF

You can go to property palatte of the RDF. Then click on Distribution button and enter the different types of output you want (Eg: HTML,PDF etc) at single point of time
