plz help me to create username and password for ma oracle software

plz help me in creatin username and password for a software develpoed in 9i database and 6i forms. i hve create a table in database(login) . that form should hve enter,cancel,an d exit buttons.
its should check the username and password from the table login if its valid then enter or if its not then error message "invalide ussername or password".
plz if any one can help me.
