Why can't I assign people to a twitter list?

I am unable to assign people to Twitter lists. I get this error message: There is an error on the page. Is there any way to get an answer from Twitter?

This could be a temporary twitter hiccup. It's common on the twitter service.

Also try switching your browser up, sometimes the heavy js that services like twitter use don't necessarily work on all browsers.

Try FF, IE, Chrome, Safari.
