    Custom log for router?

How would I go about setting up my own logging program for the router? The router is Netgear WGR614 v7.

What do you mean by custom logging? What are you trying to do? Set logging levels or forward the current logs?

This is what came up in a Google search for that version and 'forward logs'

Search the world's information, including webpages, images, videos and more. Google has many special features to help you find exactly what you're looking for.

Looks like you can have them sent to an email address - you can try playing around with the input they allow (IP/email/hostname/etc).

If you want to do a 'custom' config or image you can definitely do it, but you lose the 'vendor image' at least until you restore it...

And under all that, it's probably (was last time I checked) a stripped-down Linux box, you could try to connect to it not on the GUI and see if something like syslog is set up...
