    xp - vista ethernet-wifi problem

I have a homeXP computer connected with ethernet to a wifi router and a Vista laptop connected witreless to the same router.

The XP sees the Visata, eouter and connects to the internet.
The Vista sees only itself, herouter and connects to the internet. It doesn't see any further LAN connetions to the router.

I want the Vista to see the XP

I tried installing the lltd hotfix and it said the version on the XP service pack is newer. I couldn't find such component in the local network config of the Xp.

I use the windows firewalls on both and turning them off did not change a thing.

    Help?

We have several threads devoted to possible solutions to this - have you looked through those yet?

Can you post what you have tried outside of the firewall and hotfix?
