Network help through socks proxy

Hi, I'm looking networking help. I have a secure tunnel set up which gives me an http proxy on port 8080 and a socks proxy on port 1080. I also have ProxyCap installed which is configured to push all network traffic apart from a few exceptions through the socks proxy.

Basically my problem is that if I try to run uTorrent with this method, it freezes and will not let me connect to any tracker. Could someone please give me a hand with the configuration of this?

In your current setup, does everything work as desired? Are you able to browse the internet? Is the traffic you want blocked unable to get out?

Was uTorrent working before the proxy was set up?

Yes everything else works as required. I need to encrypt all my traffic and that's why I am using this setup. The internet runs through the proxy on 1080, and I confirm this by googling my IP. uTorrent always works unless I run it through this method. Any help would be appreciated

It sounds like a configuration issue with ProxyCap. Unfortunately, I cannot find any supporting links online, aside of ProxyCap's own site, I would recommend going to them for support.
