          It contains all the detail you would probably want to start with.

              Its no homework, I really want to understand the whole networking concepts...I work in some organization don't go to school ;)

                  You are talking about something like 20 years of software and protocols that make up this thing we call "The Internet"

                  It would take weeks to explain. You need to find yourself a book or read some Wikipedia. Those resources will be able to help you much better than we could.
