    Lan Websites

    Im not very sure if this is posible or not. But can i get a webpage into my lan and to access it people on my network just type example.com or something like that any sugestions help

    You need to set up a server in your internal network. This is very common in environments for web page development, file sharing, resource sharing, etc...

    I would recommend Apache. Their http server is free, and can work on Linux or Windows (you will need to be able to install IIS, which usually necessatates having the Windows CD, but you can search "install IIS <version> " where version is your OS version (ex, install IIS XP) and figure that out). There are several good tutorials out there to do this, including the documentation on apache's web site.
