    Debugging CSharp COMInterOP DLL from C++ Application

    I am trying to look for the way of debugging CSharp COMInterOP Dll calling from C++ Application.exe . I hope someone will advise me.

    Mind elaborating a bit more? A piece of example code would be useful too, to know where you are looking to debug and what you are doing.

    It could be a simple as a try..catch block or something far more complicated, I just dont really know where you're going with your question is all.

      Hi TRScheel,

      I would like to debug(put break points) in my CSharp DLL side calling from C++ applcaition.exe . It is not as simple as you wrote in here.I am using VS 2005 and VS 2010 and I found out some ppl saying they are not provided except VS 2008.

      Is that right or something else and looking forward to hearing from you soon.

        Ah I get what you are saying now.

        I've never had that problem, and have no real good way of reproducing it here at home but from what I can gather you will need to go to VS2010 -> Debug -> Attach to process. Seems to be a bug or something.
