datagrid itemcommand

Hi,
I am developing asp.net application.
i am generating datagrid button column dynamically.
and on click of a button click resp. command doesn't get
fired.
why is it so?
if i provide at design time it works. but no events get
fired if columns were added at runtime.
it's urgent
