What type of application are you developing?
If it's an asp.net application, have you attempted to use a Validator Control like the RegularExpressi onValidator?

Hi,

What you want to validate.. the range of date or the format of the Date entered by the user..?

If You want to validate the format you can make use of System.Text.Reg ular expression to validate the Date and if you want to validate the range of the entered date just check it with the curent date..
