If I bought a visual studio.net, is the licensing for
VS.NET is good for visual studion 6.0?
In other words, is the VS license is backword
compitible?

No, the license for VS.NET 2002 or 2003 does not magically give you a
license for VS6.0.

no, the license covers Visual Studio.NET only.

Yes, if you have a license for VS.NET you can downgrade to a previous
