Outlook 2007

Outlook 2007 keeps freezing on startup. I am running Vista Home Premium. I
need to get back to work- please HELP! Outlook will appear to start but it
locks into "Updating cached messages... (250/289)" or "databinding... ". I
have ended the task in the Task Manager" and rebooted several time but I keep
getting the same results.

Before helping you find a forum for Outlook, where you're far more likely to
find good help (this is a .NET programming group), a couple of things:

Are you using Outlook as a standalone app, or is it hooked up to a company
mail server at work? If the former, consider a repair install from your
Office nedia. If the latter, ask your IT support people, as they may have a
solution.

As you appear to be using a web interface, start here:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx

In the tree on the left, first open the English category, then open Office
and Desktop Applications.
In Office and Desktop Applications, find and open the Outlook category and
find a group there to post in.
