Please help ... problem with DEP is driving me crazy!

Hi, I have a folder in My Documents which contains a digital scrapbooking
kit, and whenever I click on the folder I get the dreaded DEP message ... it
is a paid for kit, and therefore ? unlikely to be a problematic file, but I'm
so fed up with it that I'd like to just delete the thing ... the problem is,
I can't delete it because the DEP thing happens before I get the chance to
    delete it! Grrrrr! :)
This happened before, (with a kit from the same designer), and it took me
the entire weekend to fix it and nearly gave me a nervous breakdown ...
eventually a friend showed me a program which deleted the files on rebooting,
but I can't use that this time, as it is necessary to right click on the
actual file, (not just the folder), and I can't get at it!
Thank you so much for your help ... if anyone can tell me how to fix this,
and maybe even why it is happening, I would be so grateful!
    Thank you, Arlene :)

Here's a link to an article on Data Execution Prevention (DEP) that may help
you. In future, you should post your Windows questions to a Windows group
    (where I found this link).
