DotNetFx3.5 w/SP1 won't install

    DotNetFx3.5 w/SP1 won't install

    Downloaded the final version of DotNetFx 3.5 w/SP1 - final not beta. (Full
    download - not web installer)

    The install bar was about 60% of the way across when an error message
    cropped up saying it could not complete as DotNetFramework 3.0 sp2 was not
    installed. Searched Microsoft and could not find any link to dotnetfx30sp2
    anywhere - only found dotnetfx30sp1.

    So, anyone know what's going on here?
