the page contains markup that is not valid when attached to master page message comes

Hi,

I have create an application in asp.net 2005 and convert into asp.net 2008. Now i not able to open a single page in design window which is inherit from Master Page.

Please give me the suggestion that what should i do to open asp.net page in design mode.
