ASP:ListBox PostBack

I have a web form with 3 listboxes. I've created a dataset with 3 related tables with the following characteristics :

Table Desc Key(s)
1 Projects ProjectID
2 Activity ProjectID, ActivityID
3 Task ProjectID, ActivityID, TaskID

The 3 tables and their relationships are stored in a dataset on initial page load.

When a selection is made in Listbox 1 (Table 1), I display its related records (Activity) in Listbox 2. When a selection is made in Listbox 2 (Table 2), I display its related records (Task) in Listbox 3. If autopostback is not set to true for all 3 listboxes, nothing happens.

Can I avoid having to do postbackss without using javascript or AJax?

Well javascript/ajax is used to avoid posting back so if you want to manipulate the list you need to decide if you want to post back or not.

If you don't want to post back then you require ajax.
