Clear the Event log file

Hi! All
I m working on an application it gives me an exception that "event log file is full"
so, to tackle this. I want to clear the event log file so, how i do that manually.
Any suggestion regarding this will be anticipated.

Right click on mycomputer -------> manage---->event viewer----->you will get options like application,sec urity,system etc.

select the one u want ---------> right click--------->clear all events--------->select No when prompted to save.
