Required Field Validation when pressing Tab

Hi all,
I have two text boxes.. textbox1 and textbox2.. Now the cursor is on textbox1 and when i press Tab without entering anything in textbox1, required field validator should be worked...

The error message is displayed when a button is clicked..
Please help me to display error message while pressing tab..

Is this a web application by any chance?
There is no communication (by default) with the server on a tab change.
You can either write javascript to do it for you, or I think there's like an auto-postback property you can turn on for the textboxes or something
