Xp Home boot problem.

Hi,

I have an Xp Home desktop that is about a 1 1/2 years old. Last week when I
went to turn it on on, I got a message that asks if I want to boot from CD.
There were no problems prior to this and all Windows Updates/AV/Firewall
updates are current, and recent scans found no Virus or Spyware. If I put the
Xp CD in and hit enter, nothing happens...

Any Suggestions?
