long process on Form Load Event cause control to show delay any suggestion ?

Hello,

I am using VS 2005.

I have a treeView Control on My Form,
I am filling Tree from DB and it takes a long.

but during this process my other controls, like Button, Label, etc are not loaded, do u have any idea how to do it without Threading ?

Do the DB operation at the end of form_load functions
