    Windows XP SE2

    My kids pc goes thru the motions to start up, but after the windows logo
    appears after a few seconds they are left with just a black screen with the
    mouse cursor showing (not frozen) i've looked at other similar questions and
    posts, but cannot get passed the black screen to actually perform any sort of
    scan or to find any error messages, please please can you help me in simple
    step by step laymans terms. cheers!!!!

      You'll get more interest in, and help with, your issue in an Windows XP
      group,
      rather than in
      this .NET programming group.

      To find the group you need:

      Then open your language in the TreeView on the left, scroll down to
      "Windows", open and scroll down to "Windows XP", and
      select a group from that category.
