i have 2 dropdownlist controls
when i select cat1 in drp1
then drp2 should show subA1 subA2 subA3
when i select cat2 in drp2
then drp2 should show subB1,subB2,sub B3

so on
but i need in javascript

From where u get those data of Dropdown since u prefer to use javascript. Is it in client side ?

If those are from server, then Javascript was not recommendable. If u need spped go for AJAX.
