    SQL Server on network

I am building a site with Visual Web 2005 using a SQL Database. It works locally just fine, however when I deploy it to our server I get this error message...

An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)

    Please help

Are the correct ports opened up on the firewall of both the computer hosting the website and the computer hosting the SQL server.
Are correct login privledges given to the website hosting computer to be able to log into the SQL computer.
Are they on the same domain and both have the correct access privledges withen the domain to use the SQL resources.
Double check the SQL server to make sure the correct things are enabled (named pipes, remote access and the like)
