      hi friend,
plz check the autopostback property if button
if it is false, then change it to true.
and also check the events of the button in the property window for button_click event is added to that or not?

plz copy and paste the html lines for that button from the source code

            try this also,
first delete the event name in the property window of button and erase it from code file also(take a backup)
and now double click the button and code ur fn or copy and paste from ur backup
