configure IIS to host .net 3.5 apps

    Hi all,
I've been developing using VWDE Orcas and I was woundering if there was a way to host my pages beyond the dev server that runs when I hit ctrl+F5.

I was searching around a bit and I'm not sure if i was reading correctly buit it seemed like the only way to do this would be on a beta longhorn or vista server with IIS 7 - however I have access to neither. I do have access to a Win 2k3 server and I wanted to upgrade the .net on it but I ran windows update and it didnt do the trick.

    Your help is appriciated

teh latest build of the .net framework is 3.5 (it bundles in LINQ and microsoft AJAX) which are both realy cool.

The highest version of ASP.NET I can choose when I am configuring the ASP tab of my IIS control pannel on my windows 2k3 server or my local XP workstation is 2.0.50727 Despite having installed the .net 3.0 runtime library.

When i try and push a site to the server I get dependicy errors because the librays are diffrent or not supported in 2.0

          I'd absoutly love to.
Can you please provide a link to the installer for windows XP/2K3 version?

          I'll give you a hint it's
          http://www.microsoft.c om/windowsserver20 08/default.mspx

Which is the link to download the longhorn beta
which is a full operating system that will expire in a few months leaving me in a position to have to upgrade or lose my work, which means i would have to convince my company to put a 1st gen OS into a prod env, which means lots of meetings and paperwork.... Which means less time developing...

Anyways I think i have my answer, I kinda new it when i asked the question was just hoping someone had found a way to host .net 3.0+ in the IIS5/6 world.
