C#-FORM TextBox won't show text as highlighted until focus is given

I know this is normal operation for the C# TextBox control, but it will not show highlighted text as being highlighted until focus is given to that particular control. I was wondering, is it possible to change this behavior?

Nevermind, I found a better way to do what I wanted to do with a RichTextBox control.

You can edit for a spelling mistake, for e.g., but after that only we moderators and admins can edit :).
