    Dialogboxes

Could someone tell me the difference between a openfile dialogbox and a savefile dialogbox? Or is there even a difference? Thanks again!

The OpenFileDialog has Open in the title bar; the SaveFileDialog has SaveAs.

My guess would be some default dialog settings.
The title says "Save" vs "Open" and that Open requires the file to exist before allowing a successfull selection

Hello, I will give you an example:
---think to have in your form a picturebox, and make two buttons, one for opendialog and the second for savedialog, so when you click the opendialog button, then the opendialog will shown to you, so you can choose the image to open, choose an image and click ok, so the picturebox picture is the picture you choose it from the opendialog, no go to the savedialog button and click it then you will see hte savedialog and click save, then you will see your picture from the picturebox has been saved in your hadrdisk.
        Bye.

Sorry, Atran, this is not correct. The Open and SaveAs dialog boxes only give you a string, .FileName, which is the filespec that the user choose. They do not do any file operations, except that both of them have an Open() method that returns a Stream object. Even then you would still have to operate on these Stream objects.
