Hello,

I was wondering if you could help me, I am trying to learn vb .net and I am trying to create a datagrid control which will pull information from the database. the problem is when i load my toolbox all the data adapters and datasets are in-active and therefore i can not drag and drop it onto the form, I would please like some guidance on how to activate them. can you please help...

Welcome to the site. Have you selected the right type of project? Do you have the .NET Framework installed? Have you tried reinstalling? You may need to seek support from your vendor. HTH.

hi friend,
u verify the page which one is active( form.design or form.vb)
if it is form.vb means open design one use toolbox

it is the form.design one that am using. everything is the way it should be. .net framework is installed and everything although i couldnt help to notice that the 1.1 version has the adapters and am using 2.0. do you know anything about this. what kind of project should i have opened...am creating a web site...
