    RE Post regarding MDI forms.

    mdi forms

Hello. in a parent form I have a button. Upon pressing this button a child form appears with three textboxes showing various pieces of information. However, the child form sits on top of the parent form and blends in with the button in form 1. But I want the button in form1 to be hidden, only showing the three textboxes of form 2. How would I do this?

    thank you

In the event in which you open the child, do you also set button 1 visible to false?

I have a similar problem. My parent form calls the child form using an event button. When the child form apears it is in the parent form but under other buttons and lables on the parnent form. How can I get the child form to show on top. I do not want the user to access the parent form while the child form is open.
