Actually this is a windows feature if i remember correctly.
It depends on the graphics card ( i think ) but it was something like
holding Alt and Ctrl at the same time and then pushing your cursor keys will
flip it.
I cant remember the exact keys...but I do remember this being an option of
the Windows 2000.

It is a great practical joke,
Windows saves the orientation of your screen till the next time you boot up.
We did this all over the office back in the day.
Its when "multiple monitors" first came out and some people had montors
sideways.
