Server Error in '/' Application

Anyone please,

There are these senarios as follows,

Regarding all projects running on my local machine, when I use asp.net 1.1
things are ok. when I switch to 2.0 I get a
"Server Error in '/' Application. The resource cannot be found." off the bat
for all projects.

Regarding a newly developed page running on my work servers, I get a
"Server Error in '/' Application.Val idation of viewstate MAC failed." after
I click my submit button on the page.

Regarding a newly developed page running on my local machine with db
pointing to the work servers, everthing is normal.

Anyone has any ideas please. Thanks.
