if a user presses enter key from any cell than i want to capture the text of that cell how to do this in vb.net ?

If i am understanding your question, you could write a handler for the Datagrid.KeyPre ss event, check if the key was the enter key (using ASCII codes). If it was the enter key, then you can access the text that was typed into the current cell using the datagrid.Item(d atagrid.current cell)).ToString .
