Web Access Failed error message

hi..
When am attempt to create web application using Visual Studio 2003
it shows the error message as Web Access Failed..which is in the form of following......

The default web access mode for this project is set to file share,but the project folder at
'http://localhost/WebApplication1 ' cannot be opened with the path 'c:\inetpub\www root\WebApplica tion1'.the error retured was:

Unable to create web project 'WebApplication 1'. Unable to validate that the file
path 'c:\inetpub\www root\WebApplica tion1' matches the URL path 'http://local host/WebApplication1 '.
Access denied


Please kindly get me the solution soon..

Nothing helped me..
i dont know why it is happening again..it says the same error..
Am in trouble..

Hi again Bremanand.

Just doing some stuff, and I just got the same error message for two of my ASP.NET web service projects.

My problem was that IIS had not been started. I'm sure you probably checked that already, but that was the only time it happened for me.

The error message came up when trying to open a solution with those projects in it.

How you doing with this problem?
