Button question

Hello all!

I have a quick question. Imported a .gif file that is oval shape for a
button, looks great! But when a mouse goes over the button, the outline of
the button pops up in a diffrent shade. How can I prevent this from
happening, or where can I change the color of the shade? I would just change
it to match my background.
