web service location from a file

hey all
I'm just lookin for ideas, if i have a web service as a web reference
in one of my apps, I'd like to be able to have my app read the server
location of the web service from a file; this way I don't have to
recompile my app when the server location changes, just change the
address within the file. Can this be done?
Any suggestions at all would be appreciated.
