When I try to install VS .NET it hangs slightly before halfway on the "Setup
is loading installation components" box. I don't have any anti virus or
firewalls and I've disconnected it from the network (heard some people where
having problems with Windows 95/98/ME machines being on the netwrok) but that
still hasn't fixed the problem.
The first time I tried installing it worked fine, but then there were file
read problems, which are apparently caused by the CD drive, so I put in
another drive and then this problem started. No I'm not stupid, I did try the
other drive again but it's not working on that one either. I've even tried
disabling the other drive in case it's a multiple CD drive problem, but no
luck :(
