I want my app to log various info to the Application Event Log. However I do
not want my users to be Administrators. Can anybody point me to some
documentation on how to add the correct rights for this type of access to a
standard user, or even better how could I assign these rights to the
application only, so the users cannot get into the log and fiddle.
Ideally user could view the Application log under instructions from the help
desk, but the app would be allowed to write to it of course.
Server = 2003
Client OS = XP
App = WinForms (Smart Client)
