Problem installing VS .Net

Hello,

I am trying to install VS .NET 2003 but when I choose the
only available option "Visual Studio .Net Prerequisites"
it tells me that "another program requires the computer to
reboot". But I still get this message after rebooting the
computer.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The solution is a backdoor:

Use setup.exe (on Prerequisites CD) instead of autorun.exe. There you can
force to install all prerequisites instead of selected for VS -> VS CD1 not
needed. Obviously the installer was not properly tested.
