HTTP Redirect Request Failed Error Message

When I open a solution that contains two web applications
one of then displays the following message: HTTP Redirect
Request Failed.

The only way I can get it to work, is to remove the web
applciation in IIS, then open the solution, and then re-
enable the web application.

An ideas would be appreciated.
